Privacy Policy

Signature processes your documents and signing elements locally on your device. Limited app usage data is collected through Firebase Analytics.
Information we collect
Signature does not require an account and does not use a developer-operated backend or advertising SDKs. We do not collect your documents, file names, signatures, photos, or typed signing text.
Analytics and diagnostic data
Signature uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the product. Firebase may collect automatic app lifecycle and usage events, an app instance identifier, app version, device and operating system information, language and time zone, and an approximate region derived by Google from the device's IP address.
We do not send document contents, file names, signatures, photos, or typed signing text to Firebase. We do not set developer-defined user IDs, use Firebase for advertising, access the advertising identifier (IDFA), or use this data for cross-app tracking.
Google processes Firebase Analytics data under its own terms and privacy practices. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
Local document processing
PDF and DOCX files, scanned pages, selected photos, drawn signatures, photographed signatures, and typed text are processed on your device. DOCX conversion uses components bundled with the app and does not upload the source document to our servers.
Camera, Photos, and Files
- Camera access is requested only when you scan a document or photograph a signature.
- Photo access is used only for items you choose through the system photo picker.
- File access is limited to files you select through the system file picker.
Sharing and Apple services
When you use the system Share Sheet, the destination you select may receive the exported document under its own privacy terms. Depending on your device and Apple settings, app data may also be included in Apple-provided device backups. We do not control those Apple services.
Support messages
If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. The app may add its version, build number, general device type, and iOS version to help diagnose the issue. It does not add document names or document contents.
Data retention and deletion
Documents and reusable signing elements remain on your device until you delete them, remove the app, or use Delete All Documents & Signatures in Settings. Temporary conversion and export files are removed by the app or by iOS as temporary storage is cleaned.
Security
Local processing limits transmission of sensitive files, but no storage method is completely secure. Protect your device with an appropriate passcode and keep backups when a document is important.
Children's privacy
Signature is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
